Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) will return to El Alamein International Airshow 2026 as a platinum sponsor, marking its second participation in the event and commemorating 50 years of its strategic partnership with Egypt.

Held at El Alamein International Airport from September 8 to 10, this year’s edition brings together military, government and industry leaders from across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, as well as India, Italy, Spain and the United States.

“For 50 years, Lockheed Martin’s partnership with Egypt has been central to strengthening national security and supporting regional stability. Our participation in El Alamein International Airshow reaffirms our commitment to deepening that collaboration and advancing the technology, talent and industrial capacity that underpin our 21st Century Security® vision and ensure the region’s long-term security and resilience,” said Joe Rank, vice president and chief executive of Saudi Arabia and Africa, Lockheed Martin.

Further demonstrating its commitment to advancing the region’s aerospace and defense sectors, Lockheed Martin will serve as the exclusive headline sponsor of the Aerospace Future Technology Symposium, taking place on September 7.

The event provides a strategic platform for senior government officials, civil aviation authorities, space agencies and industry experts to collaborate on advancing the region’s aerospace, defense, autonomy and space capabilities.

Lockheed Martin’s partnership with Egypt began in 1976, with the delivery of its first C-130 Hercules airlifter to the country. Since then, the company has solidified its position as one of Egypt’s most trusted defense and security partners.

That partnership expanded further in 2023, when Egypt signed a contract for two C-130J Super Hercules aircraft, becoming the 23rd nation to operate the tactical airlifter.

At this year’s airshow, Lockheed Martin will showcase its diverse portfolio of next-generation platforms and systems, including the combat-proven F-16 Fighting Falcon and C-130J aircraft models.

Additionally, the company will present its interactive F-16 Block 70/72 cockpit simulator, offering dignitaries a first-hand experience of its latest aerospace technologies and highlighting its strategic role in advancing the region’s defense capabilities.

This year’s event will also feature Lockheed Martin’s UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter on static display, a platform with a decades-long legacy and proven performance across Africa.

The company will present its broader rotary-wing portfolio, including the Sikorsky S-92® helicopter, demonstrating the versatility, reliability and mission readiness of its rotary and mission systems, and reaffirming its commitment to supporting the evolving operational requirements of its partners throughout the region.

Lockheed Martin’s participation in El Alamein International Airshow reflects its broader commitment to strengthening security and fostering industrial partnerships across the Middle East and North Africa, building on decades of collaboration with partner nations throughout the region in training, sustainment and capability development.
